WELCOME to Blue Ash Kids Ministry!

We are SO excited to have your child(ren) join us in the Blue Ash Kids Ministry! We believe in creating a safe and fun environment where kids learn God loves them, understand what a relationship with Jesus is and how to partner with the Holy Spirit. We want to dig into God’s truths through His Word together and apply it to our daily lives.

We want to partner with YOU, the parent/guardian to rise up the next generation of Christ followers. We believe we are stronger when we work together!

We can’t wait to meet you! If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Hannah our Children’s Director at Hannah@blueashcc.com.

Each week we’ll be sharing the links to the Orange curriculum that allows your family to experience together. Below are the videos for this week! We have experiences for the Pre-K/Kindergarten, 1st -3rd graders and for the 4th - 6th graders.
Questions or need some help, let Hannah know, you can email her anytime at Hannah@blueashcc.com.

A place for kids to grow spiritually.
Blue Ash Kids is a place where kids, big and small, learn that Jesus loves them. It is designed for children ages infant through 6th grade during our Sunday gathering. Our goal is to help build a spiritual foundation for children: a foundation of trust, self-concept and a growing understand of God. As your child grows with us, we will share the basics of walking with God through worship, discipleship, and community. Blue Ash Kids is rooted in our mission: Making Disciples who…GO to the missing, LOVE the marginalized and LIVE as God's kids.

GO to the missing: Jesus said when you welcome a child you welcome me. Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

LOVE the marginalized: We value connection over correction. Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” and Mark 12:30-31  “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

LIVE as God’s kids: We believe everyone is made in the image of God. Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female, He created them.”

What you can expect.

Our BACC kids’ programs are structured to make the Bible exciting and relevant for all of the kids. We are passionate about investing in the next generation and excited to support families on their spiritual journey. Our time on Sunday mornings consists of worship time, Bible lesson, videos, large group storytelling, and a small group time with grade and age-level appropriate conversations. Each of these elements play a vital role in helping to shape and encourage our children’s faith and provide real life opportunities for them to live in their lives.

We offer the following Kids rooms:

  • Infant room. For newborn - 2 years old

  • PreK/Kindergarten room. For Preschool and Kindergarten students.

  • 1st - 3rd grade room. For students in 1st - 3rd grade.

  • 4th - 6th grade room. For students in 4th - 6th grade.

Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have. Please know that all of our BACC Kids rooms are peanut and tree nut free!

If you’re visiting for the first time, plan an extra few minutes to get set-up in our system, or if you want to save time, you could do all of that HERE!

Safety.
Your child(rens) safety is important to us. We offer a secure check in/check out system and have a member of our safety team on site during worship, in case of an emergency. All of our volunteers are also trained in what to do in case of an emergency, and volunteers 18 and older are background checked. We hope you feel at ease leaving your child(ren) in our care.

Our Kids Check-In process.

Check-in: Children may be checked in 15 minutes before the worship starts. At check -in, you’ll receive a child tag and a parent tag. It’s important for kids to wear their tags at all times, as this allows them in the Blue Ash Kids rooms. You will be asked to show your parent tag to enter the Blue Ash Kids wing.

Check-out: To check-out your child(ren), show your parent tag to the teacher for verification. If you lose your parent tag, we will ask you to provide your driver's license. Students in 4th - 6th grades will be released from their class with no parent tag verification.

If we need you during worship, we’ll put your security tag number on the screen.

Conversation Guide for Parents about Faith…

In the elementary school years, kids become equipped with the skills they need to discover more about faith, and they have an active imagination that leads them to ask questions about their world and what they experience. As they learn new stories from the Bible, you’ll be amazed at the questions they start to consider. The best thing to remember is to treat each question with care. How you respond to your kids each time they may have questions about faith will determine if they continue to talk to you about their faith.

We have a great resource to help you with the conversations. Check it out HERE.

Please drop off healthy children!
For health standards, we would ask that you follow our sickness guidelines and stay at home and worship with us online if your child is currently experiencing or experienced in any of the following in the past 48 hours:

  • A fever of 100.4 or higher

  • A cough

  • Fatigue

  • A headache

  • A sore throat

  • Congestion (with unclear mucus)

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

  • Shortness of breath
